    Is it possible to remotely deploy to a websphere server as I would find this very useful.

    Currently using WSAD 5.1.2 but it is so much bloatware. Like to use myEclipse if I could.

    Yes:
    1) Mount the deployment directory of webspehere to a local drive or location on your computer
    2) Setup a custom deployment location for your web application to that mapped directory

    This will effectively give you remote deployment.
