I am trying to install Emma but it is taking forever to get included in the MyEclipse.

    MyEclipse 10.1

When Appliying Managing Changes , Pulse Explorer opens and it will remain open forever.
It says Resolving and Validating the profile.
There is only one change to manage.

    Yogesh,

We do not provide intrinsic support for third party plugins, but we will try to assist you in this case.

I could successfully install Emma plugin in MyEclipse without any issues.

Download the “Emma” plugin archived update site from here :
    https://github.com/jacoco/eclemma/downloads

Can you please try some alternative ways to install Emma plugin to MyEclipse :
    1) You can add plugins to MyEclipse using the dropins method. Extract the above downloaded zip file and copy “Plugins” and “Features” folders into [MyEclipse installation dir]/dropins folder. If the folder dropins does not exist in the MyEclipse directory, then create one. Then restart your MyEclipse. After restarting, MyEclipse automatically detects the plugins.
    2) Alternatively, you can add plugins using archived update site method. Go to MyEclipse Configuration Center > Software > Add Site > Add from Archive, select the downloaded Emma plugin zip file and follow the wizard.
    3) Alternatively, you can install Emma plugin using the following update site :
    http://update.eclemma.org/

Here is a detailed tutorial on how to add the plugins to MyEclipse :

If you can still find any issues relating to plugin install, can you please answer some more queries to help us investigate further :
    1) Can you please clarify whether you are seeing this issue only with Emma plugin or all plugins ?
    2) Clear the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log. Now replicate the issue and copy paste the contents of the .log file here to help us investigate further.

Let us know how it works for you.
