nvg918MemberI was able to build my iOS application successfully but was unable to download the application. Your application is available online: http://goo.gl/UJUI0E. I just updated my ios_distribution.cer and provision profile today. Please help because this need to be reviewed by apple next week.
nvg918MemberAlso the Build notification is Build #154812244
support-octavioMemberHi nvg918,
Is your provision profile for ad-hoc distribution? an app-store distribution profile is only valid for apps downloaded from appstore. If the answer for previous question is yes, please share device model and iOS version, also please tell us if you get any error message.
nvg918Memberno it is not an ad-hoc provision and the only error message i see is the one that i have typed above
Paul_paulParticipantYou need to build your app with an ad-hoc profile that includes your iPhone/iPad (UDID#) to install on your device. Apps built with an app store profile will only install from the app store. Rebuild your app with an ad-hoc profile to test, then build with your app store profile to create the .ipa file to submit to Apple.
nvg918Membersorry if i was not a little clearer before, but i see this error message when i use mobione to generate the ios application. I am not trying to download to an ipad or iphone. Just trying to create the ipa to send to itunes. The app already exists on itunes and this is only an update. That is why i am stumped. thanks for the help.
Paul_paulParticipantNow I understand what you mean, it’s been a while since I did any updates and Apple have changed a lot of procedures on ITC but I seem to remember I had to use the same app name, app id and profile to do the update. Version number obviously was changed but that could be your problem. That’s all I’ve got. Good Luck
nvg918MemberWhen i try to upload my ipa to itunes I get this error message
This bundle is invalid. The application-identifier entitlement is not formatted correctly; it should contain your 10-character App ID Seed, followed by a dot, followed by your bundle identifier: com.companyname.appname
please help. I am stuck and all i am trying to do is push an update to itunes. Please help.
Paul_paulParticipantYou are building the app with either the wrong profile or using the wrong app id. The identifier is not matching the profile. You say this is an update so use the exact same app-id/profile when you build the app that you used for the original.
nvg918Membernow that i tried the other set of certificates i have the problem again. When i generate a native ios application the system say that the build was successful but could not download the ipa so i can send over to itunes.
