Hi,

On the iPhone do i have to use the Toolbar in my apps?

I intend to create simple apps for local businesses and will use buttons and the navigation bar at the top.

Is this an issue at all?

You do not have to use the toolbar, you can use any of the controls or leave any of them off also. You can even do image buttons, which gives you more flexibility in the look and feel of the app.
