marc_lironMemberHi,
#1 – If I add a startup screen image for the iphone, will the end user still get a “MobiOne” spash screen when they run the app on their phone?
#2 – On an Andriod device, is there a way to remove the “MobiOne” spash screen when they initialise the app? I would rather not have anyone’s “branding” on an app when I sell it to a client. (Tiggzi and Sencha do not place branding on the app….)
Thanks
-Marc
robert65MemberMarc,the splash screen that you create will be the only screen seen by your customers both on iOS and Android, however Apple are changing the resolution for submissions from July for all apps
marc_lironMemberHi Robert65
In this video:
Build Native iOS Apps on Windows Computers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wr32FxxFkj4
it clearly shows a MobiOne branded screen as the app is loading. Now in this example one was not added in the build centre….so a default one seems to be added.
Since you can’t add a custome start screen for Android builds in MobiOne yet, is there a default image used by MobiOne instead???
I am a little confused!

robert65MemberMarc I have five apps in google play and none show the mobi-one branding
marc_lironMemberThanks for the reply…
How have you found using MobiOne 2.0 ?
Are your Apps for business or for pleasure?

robert65MemberHi Marc, a few minor issue in 2.0,however the mobi team have been great and sent me a fix to try which corrected the issue, like everyone else I would like to see push notifications, the email return to app and possible iAd, this would truly put Mobione up there and bring in more users, I have managed to sell 65 Apps since April without proper advertising so I am well pleased, good luck
Unknown AuthorParticipantI second what Robert said. If you put your own startscreen, that’s the one the app will use. Plus, you’re going to test the app before uploading it anywhere, right…?
I have two apps on the App Store and one on Google Play – 81 sales for the first app, 7 for the new app so far.
