We’ve identified a problem when starting WebSphere Application Server version 8.0 GA from MyEclipse Blue Edition.
The only way to start this version from MyEclipse is to install it as a service (or create the profile you want to use as a service) and set the service type to Manual. Any other profile installation will fail to start from MyEclipse.
We are working on a solution to this problem and will provide a fix in the 9.1.1 maintenance release.
