I have the RN-171 setup and communicating via WiFi with the program “Tera Term” loaded on my laptop. Using ModiOne I have an Android app which is seeing the RN-171, but I have not been able to find the code needed to connect and communicate with the RN-171 to send command lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Is there a published api? If you have access to that info we might be able to make a suggestion.

Yes, if the IP address is the same as api. When I connect the phone to the RN-171 the IP address is shown as 1.2.3.14 (This is the ip address I set on the RN-171).
In the AP mode of the RN-171 I can set the: ip address, wlan channel, wlan ssid, ip dhcp, ip net, ip gateway.
