The directions for my development environment say:

Install Maven plug-in m2eclipse from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e, and only 3 of the m2eclipse “extras” from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e-extras including Maven Integration for Eclipse Extras, Maven Integration for Eclipse WTP, and Maven OSGi development

Using the configuration center I did the first step to install maven and then added the “extras” site. It shows a list of “extras” including the ones I want. However, when I right mouse on any of them or the site the Add to Profile selection is disabled. Why is this? How do I install these?

I notice that there is also an installation of Maven for MyEclipse with does not seen to include these extras.

This is a brand new all-in-one installation.

    flawlor,

Maven4MyEclipse is of the flavor of m2Eclipse. To add m2Eclipse extras do the following – from MyEclipse IDE menu options click on Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities > Advanced > MyEclipse Standard Tools. Expand MyEclipse Standard Tools and select the checkbox preceding “m2Eclipse extras”. Click on [OK], [Apply] and [OK].

    You should be all set.
