Problem deploy to tomcat4

    Hello all,

    I am testing MyEclipse IDE and I get an error like

    Unable to connect to remote VM.

    when I trying to debug to tomcat 4 instalation

    I can start tomcat but can not debug. I am starting tomcat in debug mode

    Eclipse version: 3.0.1
    Eclipse build id: N/A
    Fresh Eclipse install (y/n): y
    Other installed external plugins:
    Number of plugins in the <eclipse>/plugins directory that begin with org.eclipse.pde.*:
    MyEclipse version: 3.8.3
    Eclipse JDK version: 1.4.2.06
    Application Server JDK version: same
    Are there any exceptions in the Eclipse log file? no

    If this is a DB related question please answer the following: no

    TIP: Full debugging is only supported with app servers supporting the JSR 45 spec, e.g. Tomcat 5.

    I can start tomcat but can not debug. I am starting tomcat in debug mode

    If you are starting Tomcat from ME (as you probably should be) there is no need to connect to the remote VM… independently of this process, ME hooks into the app server when you launch it. If I misunderstood you, can you provide a little more detail about how you are starting the app server, what the console says on startup and what you are clicking to get the error you are seeing or what you are trying to do that is giving you the error?
