I’m currently developing with enabled security in the web.xml.
The RAD allows to add some test users/groups. So that one can directly test the application. Without this support one has to go into the WAS console and manually do the mappings.

We’ll add the ability to do this to our application.xml editor in future versions of MyEclipse Blue; I have this filed as an enhancement request. I’m afraid I cannot suggest a MyEclipse workaround for now, so you will have to stick to the WAS console solution.
