I am running MyEclipse GA 6.0.1 with Eclipse 3.3.2 on SUSE Linux 10.3.
I have just tried the Struts example included in the Tutorials, but I keep getting a pop-up window with the following error message:
An internal error occurred during: “Processing Dirty Regions”.
org/eclipse/wst/sse/ui/internal/reconcile/validator/ValidationHelper

Has anyone seen this behaviour? Is there a solution?

Hmm, I can’t reproduce this on my end. Could you try restarting using -clean as outlined here:
https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/

it might be some stale workspace plugin somewhere causing it.

Thank you for your response. I followed your suggestion and used the -clean option. However, that did not seem to help. I am getting the same error while doing the JPA TTutorial.
I have a screen shot of the message, but I don’t seem to be able to attach it here…
