Hi

I have some doubts regarding the renewal of my eclipse subscription.

We have purchased Myeclipse pro 8.6.1 last year and is about to expire.
We wish to renew the same. I have following doubts regarding the renewal process.

* Do we have to download and install latest version of myeclipse inorder to renew it?

* If we can renew the myeclipse with our existing 8.6.1 version, will it automatically upgrade to the latest version?

Please clarify.

You do not need to install the latest version of MyEclipse to renew your license. You can renew your license to work with MyEclipse 8.6.1.

The same license is valid for the latest version too. You can install the latest version alongside the MyEclipse 8.6.1 and use the same license.

If you are on a Standard license and would like to upgrade to Professional subscription, then you would have to pay the difference cost to upgrade. Take a look at the Feature chart :
