@jaabo
I’m not sure what exactly is causing this issue with the Simulator.
a) What version of Chrome are you running?
b) What antivirus software are you running?
We would like to get a closer picture of what might be goofed. The Simulator creates its own chrome profile. This prevents it from messing with your main chrome settings.
1) Optional Task: Send us the Simulator chrome profile
You can find the chrome profile directory created by the Simulator at <userhomedir>\AppData\Local\Temp\mobione_mobilewebsimulator_data
Please zip this directory and send to support at genuitec dot com with title “MobiOne Sim profile data for review” and include a link to this thread in the msg text. Our dev team will dig in and see if we can identify why this error occurred.
2) Reset Simulator state
If you performed #1 please close any File Explorer to the SIM’s chrome profile.
Then from the Design Center menubar choose Window>Settings to open the Settings dialog. Then choose the Mobile Web Simulator node. Finally click the Reset Simulator Settings button.
Then try launching the Simulator, Tools>Open Mobile Web Simulator See attachment sim-reset.png
