jfrancis_oneshield,
We do not provide intrinsic support for third party plugins, but we will try to assist you for this case.
If there is an Eclipse plugin for Merant Version Manager 7.5 which is compatible with Eclipse 3.6, you can try installing it on MyEclipse.
Here are the ways to install a plugin to MyEclipse :
1. If there is an update site available for the plugin, then go to MyEclipse Configuration Center, switch to the Software tab then click on the “add site:” link to add the Merant Version Manager update site and fill in the dialog.Once the update site has been added, expand the site in the Browse Software section. Right click on plugin and select “Add to Profile”. Apply the changes, follow the wizard and restart the IDE when it prompts to.
2. If you have downloaded the plugin, you will need to add the update site using one of the extra links on the Add Update Site dialog (either “Add From Local Folder” or “Add From Archive File”).
3. You can also use the dropins feature. You have to add plugins to [MyEclipse installation dir]/dropins/plugins and features to [MyEclipse installation dir]/dropins/features. If the folder dropins does not exist in the directory, then create one.
