The mobione designer does not include a search widget at this time. You can implement search for your list using an input widget and javascript to perform the search and list positioning and highlight for search hits (no example available).

Q: are you looking for how to interface with a web service to access or data or broader how to do everything including how to build a database backend? Also do you know javascript which is required to program map data into your mobile UI?
