    Hi,

I cant seem to get debugging working with Jrun4. JRun is set to debug and starts up. After I switch into the debug perspective I can see the JRun threads but breakpoints do not work on my JSP pages. What am I missing?

    Thanks,
    Max

    Max,

Unfortunately, JRun4 doesn’t support JSR-045 – JSP debugging. So you will not be able to debug your JSPs iusing JRun4. Try Tomcat5 or some other fully JSR-045 compliant appserver.

But on http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-52.html in the feature section it says:
Native JSP debugging with full support for JSR045 for JBOSS, Tomcat, Jrun, SunOne and Weblogic application servers

And from what I’ve been reading, macromedia claims it does… JRun debugging is the reason behind me getting MyEclipse.

The Appserver connector developers are looking at this problem. Looks like there is an issue on our side. A fix for this is being targeted for the first 3.8.3 Quickfix release which will happen soon. So please stay tuned.

I’m currently looking for this information from MyEclipse, do you have any update on this?

    Thx,
