I too would like to know. I’ve got the GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS environment variable set and 8.0 (8.0-20091120) still has some issues.

This is an SWT bug in the Eclipse platform that was caused by a change in GTK and the workaround is to use the keyboard (enter key) once the button is focused.
