I’m running WAS 8.0.0.1 and Blue 10.0-Blue-20111028. I started my server and tried to deploy with In-Workspace Mode. My application does not deploy, and I can’t remove it and try something else. The application doesn’t show up in the Admin Console either. When I try to remove the app I get the message:
An internal error occurred during: “Remove Deployment”.
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

When I try to publish it I get the message:
An internal error occurred during: “Redeploy”.
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

When I click browse to deployment location I also get an error.

Please Help.

Peter,

Sorry to hear you are running into issues. Please provide below details to help me investigate further –
1. Open MyEclipse Blue IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and copy and paste the same here
2. Clear .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate issue and attach file here
3. Attach screenshot of the issue to help me get a visual
4. Deploy your project to another app server and see if you are able to run the application?
5. Are you able to start / stop WAS 8.0 from MyEclipse Blue?
