Error Starting WebLogic 8.1

    I get the following error when I try to start WebLogic:

    A configuration error occurred during startup. Please verify the preference field with the prompt: WLS JDK name.

    Can someone please help??? It was working earlier today.

    I fixed it. But it’s pretty silly that it wants to add a “JRE” but then you realize it wants the full sdk. that could be a little clearer.

    We have big things planned for app server configuration, so we are trying to get by on what is there now. Agreed that it isn’t the greatest/most straight forward. Sorry for the inconvenience.
