Hi,

I am trying to create a earfile for a Java 5 project, when I right click EAR > MyEclipse > Run EJBDeploy, I encounters this message “EAR project does not contain 2.x EJB projects”.

Also, in RAD, we need to create a ejbDeploy folder in EJB project. Is this required in MyEclipse?

I am using the below version:
Version: 10.0 Blue
Build id: 10.0-Blue-20111028

Java EE 5 EAR supports EJB 3.x projects. You do not need to run the EJBDeploy Tool manually if your project does not contain EJB 2.x modules.

There is no need to create a separate ejbDeploy folder in MyEclipse.Also If you’re not using the in-workspace deployment mode, you don’t need to run the EJB Deploy tool and should be able to deploy directly; EJBDeploy will be run by WAS.
