I mostly use my development machine over remote desktop (x2go or RDP) over a limited WAN connection. Any kind of animation significantly slows down the screen updates. This makes scrolling through the chat painful.

I know the chat window is still experimental, but I would like to request a feature that would allow me disable smooth scrolling.

Otherwise the plugin is working great so far.
