Hi guys…

i’m a rookie to java and websphere as well….so i hope u guys here can help me ….thanks….

ok here’s the prob….
i’m in a project rite now….n i’m doing programming on C++..so i have no idea how to Java…i mean i’m no nothing bout java…but there are few people here who are expert on Java….

i’ve been assigned to take all of the java programs from other programmers and deploy it on the WebSphere server….which is in iSeries Machine….

now wat i know is how to compile and rebuild all those programs and create .war files….(i dont know wether i’m doing it correctly… 😆 )..

then deploy it on the websphere server………and its not working 😈
so i gess i did sumtin wrong….so cud u guys help me out here…? 😉

for u guys info b4 this i had deploy sum small application on that server using the same method…and its working….its just this time i want to deploy a new application(its quite big) and it doesnt work….guysss help me plz….i’m due till tomorrow….my dateline….my job depends on it…

the method i’m using currently to create .war file now is using command prompt..(windows)…
using jar cvf ..\testing.war *.* command on the “web” folder….
inside the web folder, contains all the web-inf, xml, common…etc…folder…then i copy the war file and
paste it on the server and used the “IBM WebSphere Application Server – Express for iSeries
Configure application servers and deploy applications” wizard to installed the new application…and completed the process correctly….

but when i try to access the application …”The page cannot be displayed” ……

help me…
