Hi!

we would like to develop with Myeclipse but it is necessary that the webapp will run with Oracle 9i/AS.
The server`s not running local an as I read remote deployment is not possible – but isn’t there a workaround?
Was thinking about creating a war and then deploy manually.

This is certainly one way to do it, another way we would suggest is to mount your remote deployment directory locally, and then simply use a “Custom Location” deployment to deploy to that location, effectively deploying the files remotely.
