We had a code using DistributedMap in WAS 6.01 coded in RAD 7. Now we are trying to switch to MyEclispeBlue 10.1. We could not find the class in the websphere was7 jars.
I knew from FAQ this has been resolved for earlier version of MyEclispeBlue which used com.ibm.ws.webservices.thinclient_6.1.0.jar as JRE. But in WAS7 or WAS 6.1 comming with MyEclispeBlue 10.1, the class DistributedMap are not in either of the websphere servers. Does MyEclispeBlue 10.1 not support the cluser cache feature ?zdi,
1) Could you please clarify which FAQ you are referring to? If you can give us a link, that would be great.
2) MyEclipse Blue does not include a WebSphere installation, though we do point you to the free versions that are publicly available; these are provided directly by IBM. Could you clarify what version of WAS 7 you have installed, exactly?
3) Are you porting a project from RAD or creating one from scratch in MyEclipse?
4) The com.ibm.websphere.cache.DistributedMap interface appears to be present in the WebSphere Home\plugins\com.ibm.ws.runtime.jar file – is this the interface you are referring to?
