I used Mobione to develop and launch a simple app to both the Android and iOS markets for the company I work for. It launched a couple weeks ago, and today I got an email from the Google Play Developer Support team notifying me that the Cordova version in my app is outdated and has security vulnerabilities. Furthermore if I don’t upgrade it to Cordova 3.5.1 or higher it will be removed from Google Play.

After poking around a little I found that Mobione 2.6.3 can currently go up to Cordova 3.2 (experimental) from Window -> Settings -> App Center. I’m still pretty new to mobile development, which is what attracted me to the simplicity of Mobione while I still figure this stuff out.

So, what do I need to do to get my app updated to Cordova 3.5.1 or higher, and save my first app from being removed?

    -Thank you

The same message I received just now from Google Play…

Ya, this is a little irritating, because I literally just launched a second app onto the Android market last night too. So, I’m sure I’m going to get another email about that one soon. I hope it’s fairly simple to update it.
