I’ve been trying to install MyEclipse using the ArchivedSite via the Software updates option on the help menu (The pulse installer wouldn’t work) and I’m getting this message:
Cannot complete the request. See the details.
Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements Match[requiredCapability: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/org.eclipse.rcp.feature.group/[3.3.1.R33x_r20070802-8y8eE8sEV3Fz0z0GlHJrXvTAUS,3.3.1.R33x_r20070802-8y8eE8sEV3Fz0z0GlHJrXvTAUS]].

THis is against an install of Eclipse 3.4, with just the m2eclipse, and subversion plugins installed

    Any thoughts??

(Also, is a 500mb download really necessary???? I only use a few of myeclipses features)

Ok, I’m really cross now. I’ve just done a clean install, (on a different drive) of MyEclipse 6.5 using the sodding Pulse thing. Which initially gives the illusion of being ok, but when I try and add the m2eclipse plugin – again using the pulse app because because I now have no choice in the matter, the normal software update menu option having vanished from the help menu, I get, the same error as I had before……

ANd to think I’ve actually paid to use this thing….

    tomalyle,
m2Eclipse and Maven4Eclipse are incompatible so you cannot setup m2eclipse with MyEclipse 6.5 In case you want to use m2eclipse, you will have to revert back to MyEclipse 6.0.1 for the time being. MyEclipse 7.0 will resolve these incompatibilities and you will be able to setup m2Eclipse with MyEclipse. MyEclipse 7.0M2 is due in about 2 weeks from now. i

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
