I installed Eclipse 3.1M6 and the new version of MyEclipse, along with Tomcat 5.5.9 last night. An app that was working before has refused to work ever since. After a day of tinkering, I attempted to redeploy the application. I can’t: When I go to deploy the project, I click the “Add” button and select Tomcat 5 at the following dialog. The “Finish” button stays grayed out. When I select “Packaged Archive” and toggle back to the “Exploded Archive” button (the one I want), I get “Undefined Exploded Archive Location”. I can’t type anything in the Deploy Location textbox either.

Absolutely stuck in the water here, and frustrated as hell. Thanks in advance.

Please navigate back to your Tomcat 5 connector settings and re-select your Home directory, I’m guessing that changed.

If that doesn’t work, open up the project properties of the project you are trying to deploy, make sure there is a Web Context root value set.

    Riyad,

Setting the Web Context root did it. Thanks. I had imported an existing project, and experienced the same thing as bradm.
