I really like the app, and I want to buy it. But I can’t get around the lack of status bar hide option. I even looked around on the internet to see if there was an html or css option that would allow me to do it. If I had found that, I would have bought mobiOne already.
Do you guys have any plans to add this as an option? If so, what is your timeline for this.

Sorry to bother about this issue, again, but I really like the app and I want to do my part to help make it better where I can.

Presently there is a limitation in iOS safari that does not support fully hiding the status-bar. At best we can make it a semi-transparent black color 🙁
As soon as Apple provides an extended api for hiding the statusbar we will support it.

I noticed in xcode they have an option that removes it.
[[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:YES];

MobiOne leverages the mobile web model for both future cross platform and the convenience of the web development mode. Thus XCode is a NOGO atm. When we provide the native build service (as you have identified) it will be possible. But it is technically not possible using the web apis of mobile safari.
