hahagalParticipantHi piotr,
If enhanced mode is selected, the EAR project can only be deployed at a packaged mode. Which means every changes I made to the java classes I need to redeploy it which takes about 5 minutes for each redeploy. I would want it to be automactic deploy (exploded mode) as its much more faster.
hahagalParticipantHi piotr,
Following is the deployment log for my classic mode, exploded mode. Can you see if there is anything wrong in there which caused the web not to hot-sync?

support-piotrParticipantHahagal,
everything looks fine. Could you paste your sever log? It can be found under directory {WAS-inst-dir}/profiles/{profile-name}/logs/server1. There are two files SystemOut.log and SystemErr.log. Please remove them, then start server, perform deployment and hot-syncing of web project and send them to [email protected] “ATTN Piotrek” with a link to this thread.
hahagalParticipantHi piotr,
I have sent out the email. Just wondering if this has got something to do with the hot sync problem? The timestamp of the loggings in the System out is not correct. Should be SGT but System out loggings is in GMT.
support-piotrParticipantHahagal,
Logging is performed by WebSphere server – you should check settings in server’s configuration. However timezone has nothing to do with hot-syncing, so don’t worry about this.
hahagalParticipantHi piotr,
Is there any workaround for this issue? As our trial is expiring and we are having this issue held up for sometime. We are unable to send the project over however, we can allow you to VNC to our server for you to take a look on this issue. Will that be ok for you?
There is also another issue and we has not receive response since then, which is https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/reduce-filesize-of-earfile/
Brian FernandesModeratorHahagal,
Could you please write in to [email protected] with your contact details so we can get in touch with you? Please use the subject ATTN Brian and include a link to this thread.
hahagalParticipantHi piotr/Brian,
This issue seems OK after I update my WAS with SDK35.
support-swapnaModeratorhahagal,
Glad that it is working.
Let us know if you have any other issues. -
